Schizophrenia epidemiology database

Methology

The aim is to build a website giving literature tables of all studies on selected topics and study-specific results and also meta-analyses providing pooled results and forest plots. The results of meta-analyses will be used to build database where clinicians can predict patient outcomes using probabilities for different outcomes based on available literature. The literature search is based on several literature databases.

In later phase of the project we aim to add a predicting program based on Bayesian statistics to the web page based on all available data on risk factors and outcome, where clinicians and researchers can calculate probabilities for risk of schizophrenia and for different outcomes.
